The Rotolight AEOS 2 Explorer LED Light Kit is the perfect solution for shooting in studios, interiors and on location. It expands on the basic AEOS 2 light by adding a battery, battery charger and a soft carry bag, creating a compact and easy-to-transport kit. The battery slides into the AEOs 2's V-mount battery slot, allowing you to use the light without being tied to mains power. This is ideal for field production shoots when you need to move the light with your talent, without being limited by power cable runs. You can also match daylight, tungsten or create theatrical colour effects.

Use the AEOS 2 for continuous output or as a flash in either CCT or RGB. The light features two control knobs and an integrated touchscreen display panel that allows you to select from between CCT, RGB, effects, and digital colour filter mode. For wireless control you can use an app to control the light from your smartphone over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

High-Speed RGB Flash

The AEOS 2 combines the benefits of continuous light with a high-speed sync RGB flash, allowing the fixture to do double duty on film and video sets. For stills use, you can select your output, dim the modeling light for composing, and trigger the light's flash output which is considerably brighter than its output as a continuous source. The fixture supports flash sync, with a maximum shutter speed sync of 1/8000 of a sec.

Colour

Choose from an endless colour palette including 2,500 filters from LEE and Rosco. Featuring state-of-the art RGBWW chips, the AEOS 2 offers you endless possibilities to enhance your creativity.

Effects Mode

The light features 14 discreet lighting effects, including Fire, Ligtning, TV, Gunshot, Paparazzi, and more useful effects for film and video shoots.

The Rotolight App for iOS and Android Control

With the Rotolight app, easily switch between lighting modes to adjust colour, power, flash settings, and more. Create custom groups and projects on up to 20 lights simultaneously; right from the palm of your hand.

Optional SmartSoft Box

This optional accessory allows you to effortlessly switch from beautiful soft output to a harder light source at a moment's notice without having to physically change or remove gels, diffusion media, or grids. A revolution in lighting control, electronically adjust your light's diffusion, focus and spread, via the touchscreen display or Rotolight app.
